live to tape audio from soft circuitry assembled and worn for a nonstop 2hr movement performance on May 14 2009
at RI Convention Center, Providence, RI

I sewed an attiny microchip (programmed by Kunal Gupta) into the bodice between a set of 4 sanded xylophone plates. the skirt portion of the full body vestment, fashioned into tentacles, was rigged with conductive thread. each tentacle of the skirt could act as button when crossing the bodice. depending on the plate and sequence of contact, the skirt could trigger frequency in ascending or descending steps.
over the course of the night, the circuitry became unpredictable from my sweat. weak pulses and clicks produced by this electrical compromise punctuate bursts of white noise.
